You couldn't be more wrong. There is an entire generation that loves Ghostbusters. It was my favorite movie when it came out and it's one of my favorite movies now--both of them actually. Grow up.
How is this shocking to anyone? Ghostbusters was distributed Columbia Pictures, who guess what, is owned by Sony. I'm actually sorta surprised Sony didn't publish the game from the start. It makes sense from a business standpoint, especially since the 25 year anniversary of Ghostbusters is coming up.
Watch, it's going to be Table Tennis 2 lol. That would be one hell of a ping pong game though...
Lol I agree... I really don't like that guy. He reminds me a Rush Limbaugh, whom I dislike just as much. I also can't stand Itagaki.
I doubt it's vaporware. It doesn't seem logical that Sony would just back out of a huge business deal with Rockstar.
"What we're really excited about is the next great franchise from Take-Two and in exchange for letting them out of that exclusive (Grand Theft Auto IV), we've got the rights to the next great franchise from Take-Two."
If Sony is willing to give up exclusivity of GTA IV, be sure they want something for it. No information doesn't necessarily mean no progre...
Lighten up. It's not the end of the world.
Anyway, the video is awesome.. the voices fit the characters just right lol.. good stuff ign.
Thing is, there is so much potential with the PSEye... I really think you'll see some awesome game using it "right". Eye Pet (even though not my type of game) looks pretty damn cool. I actually see Sony going in this direction--investing much more money/time--into the PSEye for the PS4.
Nintendo and virtual reality? ...Virtual Boy 2 lol. You never know though...
I completely agree. It was so close to being such a great game (the first one). There was just no real incentive or "wow factor" after the first city. I loved the combat, but hated how you could kill everyone in the town basically, hide for a bit, then walk around and everyone forgot you just massacred scores of people. I have huge hopes for AC2 though...
I'm curious, anyone know what company MS has their contract with for the OLED tech?
Did he say that I worship Sony lol?
Well my friend happens to be David Reeves and he told me he saw an unicorn battling a fire breathing griffin...
There is no correlation between shooting a gun and playing a game where you shoot a gun. I grew up both, playing games and shooting guns. I've shot everything from hand guns to an MP5. The elements that go into "being a good shot" in real life are far different than that of game. You could get more out of reading a book about shooting mechanics than playing an FPS. Also, this guy thinks playing Halo made him better at skeet shooting. That's nonsensical... it's like saying that playi...
I might be inclined to agree with you had there been any other "pro-ps3"
or "anti-360" undertones. But, from what I read, there were none. Perhaps, though, that the whole article was a coy way of bashing the 360 and Wii and very subtly stating the PS3 the best... Or you're taking things out of context, when the article is actually very straightforward.
In all honesty, I didn't see anything that translated into, "just another topic brought up to flame and flame only." It sounded like the guy was predicting-- predicting being the key word --that Sony will put out fewer exclusives of good quality. "Quality over quantity" is a figure of speech... He didn't say, "Sony's exclusives will be higher quality than Wii or 360" (That's a HHG title lol). Whether you felt this was implied is the beauty of interpretation I sup...
Yep.. and it's a shame too. Madden having the NFL license exclusively basically guarantees it won't die or evolve beyond what Madden '05 essentially was. Here's hoping that Backbreaker can make a football game right. Oh and on a side note, did HHG actually post a non-controversial article? Crazy....
I see there are a lot of angry people over this, and I initially was too. However, I really think there is potential for a good movie. If done right, the movie will be able to convey awesome sense of scale and complex emotions that were implied in the game. Will it be done right though... that's unclear. Also, don't expect it to follow the game's plot verbatim, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Has anyone here read "What Dreams May Come" and then seen the movie? The movie varied ...
What I really hate about Madden is how there are so many little glitches that they haven't fixed in years... the ball phasing through people, people are like magnets (especially blockers), the ball floats above the QBs hand before while throwing, etc. These things all combined make it not that fun to play. I still hope Backbreaker comes out sometime this year.
I can understand you mocking Haze and Lair... but Folklore? Really? It was a pretty damn good and unique game, although, not everyone's cup of tea. Quality is not necessarily defined by units sold.
We all know it's going to be an awesome shooter, just as COD4 was. What I think it'll be interesting to see is if they actually do anything "innovative" and if they add co-op. If not, I would presume that reviewers would knock off points (even if it is an excellent game) just as they did with Killzone 2.
"Even politics is more moderated and sensible than gaming."
Perhaps you're not that familiar with politics...
